Stumps and root systems excavated out completely so the ground can be graded, seeded or built on.
Grinding a stump leaves the root system in the ground. That's fine if you only want the bump gone — it's a problem if you plan to plant, pave, build a patio or set a wall in that spot.
Our compact excavator pulls the stump and the main root mass out, so the hole can be backfilled with clean material and compacted rather than settling over a rotting root plate for the next decade.
We can grind where excavation isn't practical, and grade, loam and seed the area when the removal is done.
